WWE developmental talent to start training again but classes won’t be held at Performance Center

The WWE developmental talent is slated to start training again soon.

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that talent is expected to start back with regular classes on August 10th.

However, they will not be training at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Instead, they’ll train at a warehouse right near the Performance Center which will be set up with a few rings.

Per the report, everyone will get tested on Sunday so they’ll have the results back every Monday. WWE is taking the approach of having two people in the ring together at any time. Everyone else will be outside of the ring and required to wear masks.

Those attending classes include everyone from new recruits to those who are top stars in NXT.

WWE has been holding TV tapings at the training facility since the COVID-19 pandemic began and classes haven’t been held due to the virus. There’s still no word yet on when NXT UK talent will start training again.
