WWE disputes reports on when The Revival's Dash Wilder will be a free agent

As previously reported, it's expected that The Revival are finishing up with WWE and their contracts will expire in the next couple of months.

Several months ago, it was decided that they would do a comedy gimmick on TV where they would mimic tag teams of the past in what seems to be an attempt to bury them. Plans changed and they are now sitting at home. They were originally scheduled for the Tag Team Elimination Chamber match but were replaced by Lucha House Party.

The belief was that Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder's deals were up in April but, as reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is claiming that Wilder's deal is not up until mid-June because time was added to make up for the time off he took for an injury.

So, fans looking for them to pop up elsewhere (AEW seems to be the likely destination), it looks like June would be the earliest they will be able to do so as a team.

As seen below, it looks like Dawson is enjoying his time away from the road.
