All Elite Wrestling - AEW News

WWE doesn’t seem to be concerned about AEW going on the road before they do

On Monday, All Elite Wrestling announced they would be holding three Dynamite road shows in July. These will be the first set of shows the promotion presents outside of Jacksonville, Florida in over a year with fans in attendance as it marks their official return to touring again.

Many fans thought when this news broke that WWE would be quick to announce their own plans. The company has reportedly had meetings about various timeframes as to when they could go back on the road with June and July being discussed as possibilities. However, the latest reports have indicated WWE will stick with their plans to resume touring after SummerSlam in August.

WrestleVotes noted today that WWE’s plans to resume touring will not be impacted by this decision made by AEW.

“From a few sources I’ve asked, it doesn’t seem like AEW starting back on the road in July will impact WWE’s return to touring plans. While this could change as Vince & Co like to be number 1 for these types of things, as of today, it still looks like August for them.”
