WWE edited out Charlotte Flair dropping her belt during FOX's SmackDown encore that aired on Saturday night

During Saturday night's encore broadcast of SmackDown on FOX, WWE edited the segment with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair so that the part where Flair dropped the Raw Women's Title was not shown. Scroll down to see the edited and unedited versions.

PWInsider reported that the segment led to a backstage confrontation that led to Flair being escorted out of the arena to avoid further problems as Lynch was scheduled for a dark match after the show.

Before SmackDown, Flair reportedly voiced concerns about being made to "look weak" during the Title Exchange segment. During the segment, Flair was supposed to hand over the Raw Women's Title but she ended up going off script and pulling the title away and then dropping it.

Sonya Deville then told Flair to pick up the belt and give it to Lynch. There were conflicting reports on whether or not Lynch was supposed to throw her title at Flair but the latest on that is that it was part of the plan but it happened "differently" than it was laid out.

The segment continued with Sasha Banks coming out to start a feud with Flair as Lynch left the ring since there was nothing more for her to do on the show since she is now a Raw talent.

The backstage confrontation between Flair and Lynch happened shortly after the show went off the air and shortly before Lynch was supposed to go back out for her dark match.

talkSPORT reported that Flair flew to Orlando to support her fiance Andrade El Idolo at AEW Dynamite. As far as rumors about Flair possibly jumping to AEW, that seems unlikely because she has years left on her WWE deal.
