There was some talk going around after the Royal Rumble that there was an argument between Randy Orton and Stephanie McMahon backstage at the Royal Rumble. Orton was said to be so loud that even with the doors closed it could be heard down the hall by other wrestlers and people working at the arena. There’s no word on exactly what caused the argument but Orton has been said to be unhappier than he’s ever been.
On this week’s Smackdown Randy Orton let his temper get the best of him at the tapings. Orton took offense to a fan holding a RK-No sign and was visibly upset by it. As he was walking to the ring they cut to an Elimination Chamber graphic. When they went back to Orton he was wearing tights with silver on them. That was actually footage from Raw. You can see for yourself below. Orton may be on thin ice with the company right now but with WrestleMania around the corner they will probably tolerate Orton’s attitude since they can’t afford to lose anyone at this time of the year.
