Braun Strowman put up his WWE Intercontinental Championship at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. As noted on Friday Night SmackDown, Strowman would have to defend it in a handicap match against Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Namaura and Cesaro. The person who pins Strowman would be declared the champion.
Zayn must still be bothered by his shoulder because he didn’t do a lot and didn’t bump in this match. Zayn won the title with the Heluva kick with the help of Cesaro and Nakamura delivering a suplex at the same time. This happened after Strowman took a Kinshasa kick into the ring post.
