WWE-Endeavor Merger Expected to Close in Mid to Late September

According to an article on Deadline, the WWE merger with Endeavor Holdings is expected to happen sometime in mid to late September under the TKO Group Holdings name.

It was announced in April that WWE would merge with Endeavor with both UFC and WWE under the same umbrella but still running as separate entities with Vince McMahon running the wrestling side of things and Triple H as the head of creative.

Deadline noted that Endeavor Group Holdings has taken a hit from the WGA strike but their overall results are ahead of Wall Street expectations. The Endeavor merger could open the door for some cross marketing between WWE and UFC and more doors opening with WWE within Hollywood for the company and its talent.

McMahon has temporarily stepped away from his CEO duties after a major spinal surgery. His return is unknown. McMahon was also recently served with a search warrant and a federal subpoena. To date, no charges have been filed.
