Will WWE Evolution Become An Annual PLE? Triple H Responds

Following the second-ever all-women’s WWE Evolution premium live event last night, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H addressed the show’s future. During the post-show press conference, he was asked if fans can expect Evolution to become an annual event.

An Epic Show For All Fans

Triple H began by praising the quality of the show, noting that it was more than just a women’s event, but an “epic WWE production” for all fans. He expressed his satisfaction with how women are now featured in every aspect of WWE programming.

“It’s just an epic show. It was a women’s show, yes, but it was just an epic show,” Triple H said. “I love the fact that the women are now every bit a part of the show in every aspect of it. At any point in time they can main event if it’s the story. It’s all there.”

The Future Of The Evolution PLE

Regarding the event’s future, Triple H explained that as the women’s division grows and achieves more equality, the need for a separate show becomes less critical. He remained non-committal on making it a yearly tradition, stating that the decision would be based on fan demand.

“As the demand for the women grows across the board every day, it becomes less about having their own show. That’s equality,” he explained. “They don’t have to have their show to be in the spotlight, but if it works, we’ll definitely go down that road again. It’s a ‘we shall see.’”

The second-ever Evolution PLE was headlined by a match for the Women’s World Championship, which saw IYO SKY defend her title against Rhea Ripley only to lose it when Naomi cashed in Money in the Bank to win the title.
