WWE executive gets a bonus, Bret Hart Q&A notes, Austin to start filming next week

WWE’s head of WWE Studios Michael Luisi has signed an amendment to his deal. The deal now includes a 10 percent cut from studio profits as a bonus. Before this year there have not been any studio profits so it’s not a big deal.

Bret Hart noted over the weekend at a Q&A during a screening of “Wrestling with Shadows” that Eric Bischoff offered big money to guarantee that the movie would air as a pay-per-view event that would be promoted by WCW. However, the contract with WWE would not allow for that to happen. TBS and TNA would also not be able to air it because of the WWE contract.

Stone Cold Steve Austin confirmed on his podcast that he will be doing another season of “Broken Skull Challenge.” Filming starts next week. There is no word on “Tough Enough.” That show was originally set to be taped in July for the WWE Network but was postponed because of cost cutting.
