A big name is set to leave WWE after the Endeavor Group’s acquisition of WWE was made official on Tuesday as WWE merged with the UFC to form the new TKO Holdings group, opening the door to various opportunities.
Endeavor now owns both UFC and WWE. Vince McMahon will be running the wrestling side of things, and Triple H as the head of creative. With the merger comes some changes.
Pwinsider first reported today that WWE Chief Financial Officer & Chief Administrative Officer Frank A. Riddick is set to leave at the end of this month.
WWE President Nick Khan told those in the company on Wednesday via a memo. Riddick has yet to comment on the departure publicly. John Pollock of POST Wrestling shared the memo from Khan on Twitter:
“Frank is a highly respected colleague, and it has been a pleasure to work alongside him. We are grateful for his counsel, support, and dedicated years of service and wish him only continued success moving forward.”
His departure is the first publicly known departure following the company’s merger with UFC. He was among the other major executives in WWE that received a bonus after the closure of the merger.
He had been working for WWE for the last 13 years, where he served on the company’s Board Of Directors until 2021 and was officially named the Chief Financial Officer & Chief Administrative Officer of WWE.
