There was a backstage brawl between The New Day and Bobby Lashley, AJ Styles and Omos. It was then announced that they would all face off in a six-man tag on the pay-per-view.
There was an audio problem at the start of the Morgan vs. Carmella match. Fans at home could hear both the English and Spanish language feed at the same time. Before the match, Carmella cut a promo about being the most beautiful woman in WWE. The audio issues were fixed about a minute into the match until the problem came back a couple of minutes later.
Liv Morgan vs. Carmella
This was a good match. Morgan won the match after driving Carmella into the announcer’s table and then doing her springboard flatliner and pinning her.
The audio issues returned but this time you could hear the French announcers.
Six-Man Tag Match
The New Day vs. Bobby Lashley, AJ Styles and Omos
In the opening minutes, it was Lashley vs. Big E with Lashley hitting the early offense and E taking over shortly after. When Kingston tagged in, he was thrown across the ring by Lashley. Omos eventually tagged in and took over on offense on Kingston.
Kingston took a beating for several minutes and was about to make the hot tag but Lashley took out Big E at ringside. Woods was also taken out of the match, so Kingston did not have anyone to tag. Moments later, Woods recovered and tagged himself in.
Big E recovered and then made the hot tag and he cleaned house on all of the heels. Late in the match, Kingston did a springboard off the top but Omos swatted him and Kingston crashed on the floor at ringside. Lashley was about to hit Big E with the spear but Styles tagged himself in. Lashley accidentally speared Styles and that allowed Big E to win the match with the Big Ending.
WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship
The Usos vs. The Street Profits
Montez Ford has his ribs taped up and The Usos took advantage of this by attacking that area throughout the match. Jimmy and Jey were on offense against Ford for the first several minutes of the match.
Angelo Dawkins eventually made the hot tag and he hit a series of moves. It was Dawkins against both Usos as Ford recovered. Ford and Dawkins hit a combination blockbuster move off the top on Jimmy but Ford hurt his ribs when he landed.
There was a close near fall when Ford went for a splash but Jey got his knees up. Jey almost got the pin on Ford. Ford was slow to get up to the top for another high risk move. The delay allowed The Usos to hit a superkick, followed by a splash and pin attempt. Moments later, Ford hit a dive off the top onto both Usos to the floor. Ford then hit the splash off the top but Jimmy broke up the pin attempt.
The Usos finally won the match after hitting a double splash on Ford’s injured ribs.
Backstage, Lashley said he wants to win his title back from Big E on Raw.
WWE Raw Women’s Championship
Charlotte Flair vs. Alexa Bliss
Flair worked over Bliss’ back and neck in the opening minutes of the match. Bliss hit a jawbreaker but Flair countered a kick to the legs to stay on offense. Bliss hit a hurricanrana that sent Flair’s face into the bottom turnbuckle. Bliss dropkicked Flair out of the ring but Flair then picked up Bliss and slammed her into the barricade.
Bliss tried to fight back with an inside cradle but Flair came back with power moves. Flair hit a backflip and then she tried to hit the Natural Selection but Bliss slipped out of it. This was followed by a series of pin attempt by both women. Bliss got her knees up when Flair tried a moonsault and then Bliss came close to pinning Flair after hitting a sunset bomb.
Bliss missed Twisted Bliss off the top, Flair went for the Figure 4 but Bliss rolled her up for a near fall. Bliss hit a DDT and then went for the pin but Flair got her foot on the bottom rope. Flair grabbed Lilly the doll and tossed it in Bliss’ face to cause a distraction. Flair hit a kick to the face and then rammed Bliss in the ring post. Flair hit Natural Selection and then pinned Bliss to win the match.
After the match, Flair ripped up Lilly the doll. Bliss ran in to attack but Flair attacked back and tossed Bliss on the announce table. Bliss made her way back to the ring to see what remained of her doll. The camera stayed on her for a while as she cried on her way to the backstage area.
WWE United States Championship – Triple Threat Match
Damian Priest vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Sheamus
Sheamus immediately took Hardy out with a brogue kick so it was Sheamus vs. Priest for the first few minutes. Hardy was back in the match after a couple of minutes.
Late in the match, Hardy hit the Twist of Fate on Priest and then he went for the Swanton off the top but Sheamus knocked him off the top rope. Sheamus hit a knee off the top but Priest kicked out of the pin attempt. Priest went for a move off the top but Priest chokeslammed him off the top. Hardy hit a Swanton as Priest went for a pin but Hardy was slow to get up. Hardy and Priest traded blows. Priest hit a jumping kick but Sheamus caught Priest with the brogue kick and Hardy almost pinned Priest. Priest won the match by rolling up Sheamus.
WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship
Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair
The match started with Lynch trying the Manhandle slam but Belair countering and almost hitting the KOD. As things settled down, Lynch took over on offense for several minutes and Lynch added some new moves to her repertoire.
Belair fought back with some impressive power moves and punches in the corner of the ring. After a tug of war with Belair’s hair, Belair hit a spinebuster and then she went for a pin attempt. Belair also hit a fallaway slam that was made famous by Scott Hall. Michael Cole incorrectly said that JBL made the move famous.
Belair later picked Lynch off the top rope and press slammed her but Lynch slipped out and she went for the disarm her submission but Belair made it to the bottom rope. The match spilled to ringside and Lynch drove Belair into the steel steps. Back in the ring, Lynch hit a leg drop off the top rope but Belair kicked out of the pin attempt.
After a series of reversals, Lynch locked in the Disarm-Her for the third time but Belair powered out. Sasha Banks ran in and attacked Belair to cause the DQ. Banks attacked Lynch and then hit the backstabber on her and Belair to leave them both laying.
WWE Universal Championship – Extreme Rules Match
Roman Reigns vs. “The Demon” Finn Balor
They went back and forth on offense until Reigns tried his first pin attempt after hitting a Samoan Drop. Reigns went for a kendo stick but Balor grabbed multiple sticks that were taped together and he used them to beat on Reigns. Balor took over with a flurry of offense outside of the ring.
Balor went to get a table but Reigns hit him with a flying clothesline. Fans booed with Reigns said that there would be no tables in the match. Reigns then grabbed a steel chair and he jabbed Balor in the gut several times. Reigns went for a chairshot to the back but Balor countered into a double stomp to the gut and then driving Reigns into the steps and barricade. The fans popped when Balor pulled a table from under the ring but Reigns hit the drive-by into the ring post.
Reigns then tossed Balor over the barricade and the match continued in the crowd. Reigns put his mask on to stay safe from the fans around him. They fought around the set for the Kickoff show and Balor dove with a crossbody off the Kickoff show glass table and onto Reigns that sent them crashing through a wood table. Back in the ring, Balor brought a table in but Reigns caught him and chokeslammed him through a table.
Punk hit a Superman punch but Balor kicked out of the pin attempt. Reigns tried a spear but Balor countered into the sling blade but Reigns finally hit the spear. Balor kicked out while hitting a low blow. Balor hit the coup de grace but The Usos pulled him out of the ring before the 3 count. There’s no DQ so the attack from The Usos was legal. The Usos tried to put Balor through a table but he fought back and took them both out. Balor slammed Jey through the announcer’s table but Reigns then speared Balor through the barricade.
A heartbeat sound played and The Demon got a second life. Balor hit Reigns with several chairshots and a dropkick that sent Reigns through the table. Balor brought Reigns into the ring. Balor went for the coup de grace but the top rope broke and Balor fell into the ring. Reigns hit the spear and then pinned Balor to retain his title
