WWE Extreme Rules: Roman Reigns & The Undertaker vs. Shane McMahon & Drew McIntyre

The No Holds Barred match pitting Roman Reigns and The Undertaker against Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre kicked off this year’s WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view from Philadelphia, PA.

Taker looked good in this match and appeared to be in good shape. This was a No Holds Barred match, which for weapons to be used.

Reigns wrestled the bulk of the match and then eventually hot tagged Taker. Late in the match, Taker tried to hit the Last Ride on Shane through the announcer’s table but Elias appeared and smashed a guitar over Taker’s back. McIntyre also hit Taker with the Claymore kick. Shane climbed up to the rope and dove off it with an elbow onto Taker on the announcer’s table. Takers back was cut open, apparently from the earlier guitar shot.

They brought Taker into the ring and set up a trash can on him in the corner in the ring for McMahon’s coast-to-coast dropkick off the top rope. McMahon hit the move as Reigns was getting up to take out Elias but Reigns was hit with the Claymore kick. Taker sat up as Shane was about to pin him.

Taker chokeslammed Elias and Shane and Roman speared McIntyre. Taker tombstoned Shane and then pinned him. It looks like this is the end of the feud with Shane.
