Kickoff Show Match
Big E and Xavier Woods vs. Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura

Before the match got started, Kofi Kingston told Kevin Owens that he would be supporting him tonight during his match with Daniel Bryan. A producer walked up to Kingston and said The McMahons needed to speak with him regarding tonight’s WWE Championship match. Rusev almost had the match won with the Accolade submission but Big E and Woods got the win with “Up Up Down Down” finisher. Big E pinned Rusev.

Andrade vs. Rey Mysterio was taken off the Kickoff show. Instead, it will be Samoa Joe defending the United States Championship on the main card against Mysterio, Andrade and R-Truth.

WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship
The Usos (Champions) vs. Shane McMahon & The Miz

The Usos retained but the story was what happened after the match. Miz and McMahon walked over to Mr. Miz and then they started to walk towards the backstage area but McMahon attacked Miz. McMahon also put his hands on Miz’s father. Looks like McMahon vs. Miz at WrestleMania.

WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship
Asuka (Champion) vs. Mandy Rose

Asuka had to deal with the interference from Sonya Deville. Asuka won after hitting her spin kick. The kick was possible because Rose slipped on the ring apron that was draped on the ring after Deville lifted it to get a kendo stick from under the ring. It looks like WWE is teasing a split between Rose and Deville. Rose refused to accept help from Deville after the match.

Backstage, Kofi Kingston said he’s been waiting for an hour to speak to the McMahon’s. The New Day walked in they found Vince McMahon. Big E and Xavier Woods pleaded their case for Kingston to be added to tonight’s WWE Championship match. McMahon agreed to add Kingston to the match….or so it seemed. McMahon did make a match with Kingston but for not for the WWE Championship. It would end up Kofi Kingston vs. Cesaro and Sheamus in a Handicap Match.

1 vs. 2 Handicap match
Kofi Kingston vs. Cesaro and Sheamus

McMahon said Big E and Xavier Woods would be barred from ringside for this match. Cesaro and Sheamus dominated the match but they kept playing games with Kingston. Big E and Xavier Woods ran down but were attacked by Nakamura and Rusev. Finally, Sheamus and Cesaro got the pin on Kingston with both feet on his chest.

Elias is making in-ring appearances throughout the night. Basically, he plays a song and rips on the fans.

Kayla Braxton asked Shane McMahon backstage for comment on what he did earlier. McMahon said nothing.

WWE Raw Tag Team Championship – Triple Threat Match
The Revival (Champions) vs. Ricochet & Aleister Black vs. Chad Gable & Bobby Roode

Very good match with some crazy moves, especially from Ricochet. The finish was Dawson getting the pin on Gable after hitting the Shatter Machine. The Revival are still the champs but Roode decided to attack The Revival and then Ricochet and Black attacked everyone. Ricochet hit the 630 off the top on Wilder.

Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair were shown backstage. Lynch is still walking with a crutch.

WWE United States Championship
Samoa Joe (Champion) vs. Rey Mysterio vs. R-Truth vs. Andrade

This match was made during the Kickoff show during a backstage segment where Joe told Carmella and Zelina Vega that he would be willing to put R-Truth and Andrade to sleep. This was another fast-paced match with everyone getting a chance to shine including Carmella and Zelina Vega fighting at ringside. Late in the match, Truth did John Cena’s 5 knuckle shuffle on Joe. Joe retained the title by forcing Mysterio to submit to the coquina clutch.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
Sasha Banks & Bayley (Champions) vs. Nia Jax & Tamina

Beth Phoenix was the guest commentator for this match. The champions retained after Bayley pinned Jax. Tamina and Jax attacked Bayley and Banks after the match so it looks like this feud will continue. Jax tossed Banks over one of the announcer’s tables. Tamina stood face to face with Beth Phoenix. Phoenix nailed Tamina with a punch but Jax attacked Phoenix. They rolled Phoenix into the ring and Jax hit a leg drop on her and Tamina was going to hit a splash off the top but Natalya ran out for the save but she was also attacked.

WWE Championship – Triple Threat Match
Daniel Bryan (Champion) vs. Kevin Owens vs. Mustafa Ali

Ali was a late addition to this match and no reason was given. Fans were not too thrilled and they booed Ali during the introductions because they wanted to see Kofi Kingston. Bryan retained with help from Erick Rowan.

If Lynch wins she’s added to Raw Women’s Title Match at WrestleMania 35
Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch

Not much of a match. Flair worked over Lynch’s leg. Flair had the match won with the figure 8 but Ronda Rousey ran down and punched Lynch to cause a disqualification. Lynch wins via DQ and she will be in the main event against Flair and Rousey at WrestleMania in a Triple Threat Match.

Elias was back out with another song. Lacey Evans walked out and then walked to the back, again. Then Randy Orton hit an RKO out of nowhere on Elias. Then, AJ Styles appeared and hit the Phenomenal Forearm on Orton.

Six-Man Tag Team Match
The Shield vs. Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley & Baron Corbin

This was a fun brawl for the most part. The match ended with a triple powerbomb on Corbin. The Shield celebrated to end the show as Michael Cole kept saying this is the end of an era because of Dean Ambrose’s impending departure from the company.
