WWE has filed a trademark for the nickname of Becky Lynch.
On March 30th, WWE filed to trademark the term, “lasskicker.” Here is the description for the filing under the category of entertainment services:
“Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.”
Lynch hasn’t been seen on WWE television since last May. Lynch had originally wanted to drop the Raw Women’s Title at WrestleMania 36 where she took on Shayna Baszler because she and Seth Rollins were trying to get pregnant around that time. That didn’t happen as she went over.
She announced she was pregnant on the episode of Raw the night after the Money in the Bank pay-per-view event, which saw her award Asuka, who had won the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, with the title.
She gave birth to her first son with Rollins back in December. There’s no word yet when she will make her WWE return.
