WWE files Bray Wyatt related trademark

WWE aired the latest edition of the FireFly Fun House on last week’s episode of Raw.

The segment featured Bray Wyatt talking about how you shouldn’t trust friends and alluded to a friend, which is Randy Orton, who burned something a few years ago. This was a reference to Orton burning down his home in 2017 during their feud.

This led to a new character being introduced and it was the Friendship Frog. However, the puppet was smashed in the head by Alexa Bliss.

On November 25th, WWE filed to trademark this term under two different categories. Here is the description for the filing under the category of clothing products:

Clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, clothing ties, scarves, gloves, swimwear; Halloween and masquerade costumes; footwear, namely, shoes, sneakers, slippers, flip flops, boots; headwear, namely, hats, caps; wrist bands; bandanas.

While the category for entertainment services reads like, Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment.

Although not confirmed, it appears WWE will continue using this character while Wyatt feuds with Orton as the Wobbly Walrus has disappeared from WWE TV.
