WWE Files Trademark For Catchphrase Of SmackDown Star

WWE has filed for the rights to a catchphrase made famous by one SmackDown star.

The company filed for “Feel The Glow” on December 13 under the entertainment services classification with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Here is the description for the trademark:

“Mark For: FEEL THE GLOW trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, clothing ties, scarves, gloves, swimwear; Halloween and masquerade costumes; footwear, namely, shoes, sneakers, slippers, flip flops, boots; headwear, namely, hats, caps; wrist bands; bandanas; championship trophy belts.”

In a backstage segment on Friday’s WWE SmackDown, GM Nick Aldis told Bianca Belair that he was forcing her to relinquish the Women’s Tag Team titles because Jade Cargill is out after being attacked. Naomi offered to step in for the downed WWE star. Aldis said they had to defend the Tag Team Titles next week against Women’s Champion Nia Jax and Candice LeRae.
