WWE files trademark for Roman Reigns’ new nickname

WWE has filed a trademark for Roman Reigns

On October 8th, WWE locked down the rights to the terms, “The Suplexorcist” and “The Suplex-orcist” with them being listed for entertainment and merchandising purposes. Here is the description:

“Mark For: THE SUPLEXORCIST trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports via an online community portal.”

Paul Heyman has been using the term “Suplexorcist” to describe Reigns during the feud with Brock Lesnar ahead of their Universal Championship match at Crown Jewel on October 21, 2021. WWE does have plans for these two wrestlers past Crown Jewel.
