On Thursday afternoon, word spread on social media about the main event for next week’s WWE NXT: The Great American Bash being spoiled by developmental wrestler Saurav Gurjar. A posted was briefly posted on his Instagram stories that appeared to show the winner of the Winner Take All Match between NXT North American Champion Keith Lee and NXT Champion Adam Cole. Click here for the photo that everyone was talking about today.
However, another developmental wrestler seems to be hinting at a second ending that was taped for next week’s show so what was posted today may not be what it seems.
Ezekwesiri “EJ” Nduka tweeted, “We don’t run a sloppy shop. Two endings. Two stories. Find out next week.”
The “sloppy shop” line refers to what Taz said during his promo on AEW Fyter Fest but it was about WWE’s handling of the COVID-19 outbreak and not testing until people started to get sick. That promo reportedly made some people in WWE upset. Click here for more on that story.
Nduka followed up with another tweet regarding next week’s NXT: “Lmao how are you going to tell me what I know.. There’s a reason why we do as well as we do.. Don’t believe everything you see.”
Whatever the case may be, we may not get a real answer until next Wednesday night.
