WWE finalizing plans for the Royal Rumble PPV

WWE held a big meeting this past weekend to finalize plans for the Royal Rumble PPV. The WWE creative team were reportedly putting the 30-man Rumble main event together and working on the other matches for the event.

AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, and Doc Gallows have not signed WWE contracts as of this past Monday. I believe Styles is no longer under contract and Anderson and Gallows cannot sign with WWE until their NJPW deals expire. Anderson’s deal with NJPW expires after February 1st. The men will have to pass the standard medical tests before signing with WWE.

Royal Rumble takes place on January 24, 2016, at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. It will be the 29th event in Royal Rumble history and the first WWE pay-per-view of 2016.
