WWE Friday Night SmackDown 7/9/21 ratings rise from last week

The latest edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown saw its ratings increase.

Friday’s show averaged 1.986 million viewers on FOX, which is up from last week’s show that did 1.861 million viewers, according to Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics.

In the all-important 18-49 demographic, the show did a 0.48 rating, up from the 0.46 rating last week. Unlike last week, WWE didn’t face any competition from the NBA or NHL.

The episode featured Tegan Nox & Shotzi Blackheart vs. Natalya & Tamina, Seth Rollins vs. Cesaro, and Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Baron Corbin in Money in the Bank qualifying matches.

WWE has loaded up the card for this week’s show as it will have fans in attendance and feature a big six-man tag team match as well as a title bout.
