WWE Friday Night SmackDown overnight ratings back over 2 million viewers

The overnight ratings are in for Friday’s WWE SmackDown episode from St. Petersburg, Florida at Tropicana Field.

The episode drew an average of 2.003 million viewers, which is up from last Friday’s SmackDown episode that did an average of 1.915 million viewers on FOX.

The first hour saw it pull in 2.036 million viewers while hour two did 1.969 million viewers. The show did 1.996 million viewers in hour one while hour two did 1.834 million viewers a week ago.

It also pulled in an average of 0.50 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which was #2 for the night. That is the same as the 0.50 rating in the 18-49 demographic the show did last week. This week’s show featured a Gaunlet Match in the second hour to determine a new #1 contender for Roman Reigns’ Universal Title.

SmackDown was in the middle of the pack for the night among the networks in viewership. It was behind 20/20, Magnum P.I., Blue Bloods, Shark Tank, Dateline NBC, and other series among the top shows on network television.

It should be noted that this is the overnight number and the actual rating won’t be released until next week.
