WWE Friday Night SmackDown overnight ratings see increase for Jeff Hardy arrest angle

The overnight ratings are in for Friday’s WWE SmackDown episode from Orlando, Florida at the WWE Performance Center.

The episode drew an average of 2.150 million viewers, which is up from last Friday’s SmackDown episode that did an average of 2.040 million viewers.

The first hour saw it pull in 2.143 million viewers, hour two bump up to 2.157 million viewers. The show opened and closed with the arrest angle for “DUI” involving Jeff Hardy after he hit Elias with a car only to return in the main event segment.

It also pulled in an average of 0.55 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which was #1 for the night. That is down from the 0.60 rating in the 18-49 demographic the show did last week.

SmackDown was #8 for the night among the networks in viewership, the same from last week’s #8 ranking. It was behind American Housewife, 20/20, Hawaii Five-O, Magnum P.I., Blue Bloods, The Blacklist, and Dateline NBC among the top shows on network television.

It should be noted that this is the overnight number and the actual rating won’t be released until Monday.
