WWE Friday Night SmackDown overnight ratings down for Extreme Rules go-home episode

The overnight ratings are in for Friday’s WWE SmackDown episode from Orlando, Florida at the WWE Performance Center.

The episode drew an average of 1.893 million viewers, which is down from last Friday’s SmackDown episode that did an average of 1.905 million viewers. This marked the second lowest-rated episode of SmackDown on FOX as the previous low was back on July 3rd with 1.777 million viewers.

This was the go-home show of SmackDown for Sunday’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view event.

The first hour saw it pull in 1.919 million viewers while hour two did 1.867 million viewers. Last week’s show did 1.930 million viewers in hour one while hour two did 1.879 million viewers.

It also pulled in an average of 0.45 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which was #2 for the night. That is down from the 0.50 rating in the 18-49 demographic the show did last week.

SmackDown was #8 for the night among the networks in viewership, the same from last week’s #8 ranking. It was behind 20/20, Magnum P.I., Blue Bloods, Shark Tank, Dateline NBC, and other series among the top shows on network television.

It should be noted that this is the overnight number and the actual rating won’t be released until Monday.
