Welcome to our live coverage of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, which is emanating from The Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. Announced for tonight's show, Smackdown's women champion Liv Morgan will take on Natalya, Madcap Moss will do battle with the male Money In The Bank ladder match winner, Theory, also, Angelo Dawkins will take on one half of The Undisputed tag team champions, Jimmy Uso. 

- Smackdown kicks off with Adam Cole in the ring, Cole then introduces Pat McAfee. McAfee says that he would like to take this moment to apologize because his absence last week caused everyone to listen to Corey Graves for two hours and seventeen minutes of Corbin's promo, McAfee then shows replays of Happy Corbin attacking him at The Money In The Bank PLE, McAfee says that his neck isn't fractured, but bruisef, McAfee says that him and Corbin were roommates, McAfee says that once Corbin came into WWE he became a douchebag, McAfee says that at Summerslam he's going to humble Corbin into being a good member of society, Corbin then interrupts on the screen, Corbin says that McAfee is too stupid to stay in his lane and that he should stay on commentary, Corbin says that he's a fighter and Pat used to punt footballs, Corbin says that he's staying far away from McAfee, for now, Pat says that Corbin is allergic to being in front of the crowd, McAfee then introduces Liv Morgan. 

Match 1: Liv Morgan vs Natalya 

- The match starts off with Natalya attacking Liv in the corner, Natalya then takes down Liv with a headlock, Liv then takes over Natalya with a headlock of her own, Liv then hits Natalya with a dropkick for a two count, Natalya then slams Liv down before running off of her back, Natalya then attempts to lock in the sharpshooter on the apron, Liv then attempts to hit the oblivion on the apron but Natalya counters, sending Liv face first into the ring post as we go to commercial break.

*Commercial break*

- We are back from commercial as we see Natalya lock in a torture lock submission on Liv, Liv then hits a dropkick from the second rope onto Natalya, Liv then hits an enzuigiri on Natalya, Liv then hits a backstabber on Natalya, Natalya then hits a german suplex on Liv for a two count, Natalya then places Liv on the top rope, Liv then pulls her off, causing Natalya to crash face first into the top turnbuckle, Natalya then hits a powerbomb on Liv to secure a nearfall, Natalya then locks in an ankle lock but Liv counters, Liv then hits a codebreaker on Natalya, followed by the oblivion onto Natalya to secure the pinfall victory.

Winner via pinfall: Liv Morgan at 9:16.

- Kayla Braxton then interviews Liv Morgan in the ring, Liv says that she's arriving to Summerslam as the underdog but she's been the underdog her entire life, Liv says that after Summerslam you can still call her the Smackdown's women champion.

- Paul Heyman then interrupts Theory as he's interviewed, Heyman says that he's responsible for the biggest break of Theory's career, Heyman says that cashing in on Roman makes no sense, Heyman says that what Theory wants to do is work with him to set up a bigger match against Roman Reigns to make more money, Theory says that he's either going to cash in on Roman or Brock, Theory says that he will hire Heyman once he's champion. 

- Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods then come out dressed as The Viking Raiders, Xavier calls himself Erik the cross, Kofi calls himself Ivar the ugly, Kofi says that instead of fighting with honor they played Assassin's Creed Valhalla on the PS5 and watched the new Thor movie, the Viking Raiders then interrupt, Xavier and Kofi then call the Raiders imposters, Erik says that they are new and vicious, Xavier asks The Viking Raiders if that the only words they, Xavier and Kofi then call the Raiders ugly, The Raiders then attempt to enter the ring but Shanky and Jinder Mahal attack them, Kofi then hits a trustfall onto The Viking Raiders, The Raiders then retreat. 

- Gunther tells Ludwig Kaiser that losing is unacceptable and there will be consequences, Ludwig then apologizes to Gunther, Gunther then chops Ludwig in the interview area.

Aliyah makes her entrance, Lacey Evans demands that her entrance be done again for a louder reaction, Lacey then says that she might not be better than anyone in this arena, but they damn sure aren't better than her, Lacey says that she served her country and put her life on the line for everyone, Lacey says that she's a prime example of what everyone should be, but they aren't, Lacey then attempts to apologize to the fans but they deny her, Lacey then tells the fans to go to hell before retreating.

Match 2: Drew McIntyre vs Ridge Holland 

- Before the match starts, Butch rings the bell, setting up Drew vs Ridge Holland instead of Drew vs Sheamus.

- McIntyre then hits a belly-to-belly suplex on Ridge, Drew then lands nine punches to the chest of Ridge but Sheamus pulls Ridge off of the apron, Butch then distracts Drew, allowing Ridge to throw Drew face first into the ring post, Ridge then hits a running powerslam on Drew for a one count, Ridge then puts Drew in all headlock resthold, Drew then hits two closelines on Ridge, followed by a neckbreaker, Drew then knocks Butch off the apron, Ridge then lands a headbutt on Drew, Drew then hits the white noise on Ridge, Drew then hits the claymore kick onto Ridge to secure the pinfall victory.

Winner via pinfall: Drew McIntyre at 3:29. 

Match 3: Theory vs Madcap Moss 

- Before the match starts, Paul Heyman encourages Madcap to give Theory the same beating he gave Happy Corbin, Heyman says that he would be able to set up a future championship match in a big time stadium show, Madcap says that Heyman is worried about Theory cashing in at Summerslam. 

- The match starts off with men locking up, Theory then backs Madcap into the corner before taunting him, Madcap then takes down Theory before attempting a german suplex, Theory then hits a shoulder tackle on Madcap, Madcap then hits a shoulder tackle on Theory, Madcap then catches Theory before hitting a fallaway slam, Theory then puts Madcap in a headlock, Theory then slams Madcap face first into the top turnbuckle twice, Madcap then closelines Theory over the top rope, Theory then leapfrogs over Madcap, causing Madcap to crash into the steel steps as we go to commercial break.

*Commercial break*

- We are back from commercial as we see Theory lands a drop-toll hold kick on Moss, sending him face first into the second turnbuckle, Theory then hits a dropkick on Madcap, followed by a headlock resthold, Madcap then hits a pounce on Theory, both men then exchange a series of strikes, Madcap then hits a closeline on Theory, Madcap then hits a spinebuster on Theory to secure a nearfall, Theory then hits a sideslam on Madcap to secure a nearfall, Madcap then hits a running shoulder tackle on Theory, Madcap then pounds Theory off of the apron, Madcap goes to follow Theory but Theory uses the briefcase on Madcap, causing the disqualification.

Winner via disqualification: Madcap Moss at 11:55.

- After the match, Theory hits Madcap Moss once again with the briefcase. Theory then says that he's going to be the next WWE undisputed universal champion, Sami Zayn then interrupts, Zayn says that there are consequences for disrespecting the bloodline and Roman Reigns, Theory then asks Zayn whats he going to do with one arm, The Usos then make their entrance, Madcap then sends Theory into the ringpost, shoulder first, Madcap then throws Theory into the timekeeper's area. 

Match 4: Jimmy Uso vs Angelo Dawkins 

- The match starts off with Dawkins backing Jimmy up in the corner, Dawkins then locks in a gut-wrench submission on Jimmy, Jimmy then hits an enzuigiri on Dawkins, knocking him off the apron, Dawkins then hits a pounce on Jimmy, sending him into the timekeeper's area as we go to commercial break.

*Commercial break*

- We are back from commercial as we see Jimmy beat away at Dawkins the corner, Jimmy then hits a running hip attack on Dawkins in the corner, Dawkins then hits Jimmy with a stiff right hand, Dawkins then hits a leaping corkscrew elbow to the face of Jimmy, Dawkins then hits a corkscrew splash on Jimmy in the corner, the referee then gers inadvertently taken out, Jimmy then hits a superkick on Dawkins but the referee is still down, Dawkins then hits a sky high on Jimmy to secure the pinfall victory.

Winner via pinfall: Angelo Dawkins at 7:01.

- After the match, we see that Jimmy's shoulder was off the mat during the three count, Adam Pearce then comes out, Pearce announces that Jeff Jarrett will be the special guest referee at Summerslam in the tag team championship match between The Usos and The Street Profits, The Profits and The Usos then brawl, referees then come out to break up the two teams as Smackdown goes off the air.
