WWE ‘Fully Embraced’ Nattie Neidhart’s Tell-All Book Despite Her Fears To Share

WWE Superstar Natalya Neidhart shared insights into the emotional process behind writing her upcoming autobiography, “The Last Hart Beating: From the Dungeon to WWE,” during a candid conversation on The Nikki and Brie Show. She discussed her initial reluctance to share deeply personal stories and the surprising support she received from WWE.

Natalya admitted feeling hesitant when she began documenting her life. “I was a little tentative when I started writing the book,” she stated. “There were a lot of things when I was going through my life… there’s a lot that I was kind of scared to share, and I thought, ‘I don’t know if I want to go there.’ I thought, ‘I don’t want to say this,’ or ‘They’re not going to let me say this,’ or ‘WWE is not going to want me to say this’.” This apprehension eventually gave way to a decisive moment: “Then I just thought, ‘You know what? Fk it. Just write it.'”**

A major factor in her initial caution was how WWE would react to the book’s content. Natalya expressed relief and gratitude for the company’s positive reception. “When WWE was looking over my book, I wanted to make sure that I was comfortable with it, and I wanted to make sure that they were comfortable with it because I want us to all be on the same team. I want us to all be on the same page because we are a family,” she explained. “They were so supportive of my book. It made me so happy they loved it. They didn’t say, ‘You can’t say this,’ or ‘You can’t say that.’ They fully embraced it, and it was such a great feeling because it confirmed that it’s so good to be able to share your story. There are some things I was tentative to talk about, but I feel such a weight lifted off my shoulders that I’m able to share it.”

The book promises significant personal revelations, particularly concerning her late father, the legendary Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart. “In the book, especially stuff with my dad, I end up discussing and talking about some really personal things,” Natalya revealed. “I was able to unlock a lot of those things after my dad passed away. It helped me sort through trauma from my own childhood because I didn’t know. I didn’t understand a lot of the things that had happened to me growing up until after my dad passed away, and we were able to investigate it a little further, and it just made everything make sense.”

Despite the vulnerability involved, Natalya is eager for fans to read these chapters of her life. “Those are really important conversations that we have in the book. I’m just excited I get to share them, even though it’s a little scary to talk about some of it, because I think, ‘Oh, I don’t want to ruffle feathers’,” she stated, adding optimistically, “It’s gonna open up a lot of conversation, but it’s gonna be great.”
