WWE has added another layer to the characters of Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza.
As Los Lotharios made their way to the ring, they found a woman in the crowd (a planted fan) to plant a kiss on. Both men kissed her on the cheek before they began their match with The New Day. This is a takeoff on the “Ravishing” Rick Rude gimmick from the late 80s. After his matches, Rude would find a woman in the crowd and she would enter the ring so she could plant a kiss on the lips.
Also, in addition to their Los Lotharios name, they are also being referred to as the “Lethal Lovers.” For anyone wondering, Lothario is defined by the Merriam-Webster dictionary as “a man whose chief interest is seducing women.”
Garza won the match for his team by pinning Kingston.
