The Undertaker vs. Rusev in a Casket Match was one of the three final matches on a stacked Greatest Royal Rumble card. The announcers pointed out that this was the first televised Casket Match in three years and it was Rusev’s first Casket Match.
Rusev stalled at ringside so Taker went after him and hit him with punches. The match moved into the ring and Taker continued the offense. Later, Taker hit his trademark legdrop on the ring apron and then he tried to roll Rusev into the casket but Aiden English refused to allow the lid to be closed. Rusev rolled out of the casket and the match continued. This allowed Rusev to get some offense including a spin kick to the face on Taker. Taker took more bumps in this match than he did in his match with John Cena at WrestleMania.
Taker finally took control of the match with a chokeslam. English tried to interfere again but Taker hit a chokeslam and a tombstone on him. He stuffed English in the casket with Rusev and that was the end of the match. Taker wins.
