WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has announced a significant health milestone, revealing that he has lost 100 pounds over the last two years. In a post shared on social media, Foley stated that he currently weighs 272.2 pounds, down from his all-time high.
The Milestone
Foley detailed his journey, noting that his weight peaked at 372 pounds in January 2024. He clarified a previous misconception regarding his progress, explaining that he believed he had reached his goal a year prior.
“I actually thought last year my high was 379 and I hit my goal when I hit 279 last January,” Foley wrote. “But little did I know I was 7 pounds short of my 100 lb goal one year ago.”
Methods and Lifestyle Changes
The “Hardcore Legend” was transparent about the methods he utilized to achieve his results. He credited a combination of medication, dietary adjustments, and exercise.
“Yes, I had some help in the form of Wegovy, which helped reduce the constant cravings,” Foley stated. He added that he adopted “wiser eating choices,” specifically stopping eating when he started to feel full rather than when he was stuffed. Additionally, Foley mentioned incorporating DDP Yoga into his routine.
Physical Improvements and Future Goals
Foley reported immediate physical benefits from the weight loss. “I am moving around so much better, I’m not short of wind after walking up hills and stairs,” he said.
Looking ahead, Foley set a new target for himself, stating, “Next stop, 250 lbs by my birthday!”
He also included a humorous challenge to fellow wrestler Tommy Dreamer, suggesting an “epic stipulation match” where the “Loser takes off t-shirt,” referencing his newfound confidence.
This is great news and good luck to Mick as he continues his weight loss journey.
