WWE Hall Of Famer The Godfather Walks Away From Horrifying Car Accident ‘Without A Scratch’

WWE Hall of Famer The Godfather, real name Charles Wright, was recently involved in a serious car accident but was fortunate to walk away uninjured. Wright shared the news with fans on his personal Facebook page.

According to his post, the truck he was in rolled over three times. Despite the severity of the crash, Wright stated that both he and the other passenger were able to escape the wreck without any significant injuries.

“I definitely believe in the safety of a Dodge Ram. Rolled three times and both of us walked away without a scratch,” Wright wrote.

Wright was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016 for his most famous persona, the fun-loving Godfather. However, fans remember him for several other memorable characters throughout his long career. He first made a name for himself as the eerie voodoo practitioner Papa Shango in the early 1990s.

He later evolved into Kama, the “Supreme Fighting Machine,” as a member of the Nation of Domination. During the Attitude Era, he transformed into The Godfather before being repackaged as The Goodfather, a member of the conservative Right to Censor faction.
