WWE Hall Of Famer “Bullet” Bob Armstrong has passed away

We are sad to learn about the passing of WWE Hall Of Famer and wrestling great “Bullet” Bob Armstrong has passed away at 80 years old.

The news broke on Twitter via his sons “Road Dogg” Brian James and Scott Armstrong.

Road Dogg and Scott Armstrong tweeted, “It is with a very heavy heart we announce the passing of our Father and @WWE Hall of Famer “Bullet” Bob Armstrong. Information regarding funeral arrangements will come at a later date.”

The Bullet was diagnosed with cancer over a year ago and was reportedly still training just a few months ago.

Armstrong won titles in several major territories including Championship Wrestling From Florida, Georgia Championship Wrestling, and Southeastern Championship Wrestling among other promotions. In 2011, he was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame.

The Bullet is considered one of the biggest names in wrestling history. His career spanned from the early 1960s until last year and in recent years, he was still wrestling sporadically.
