One WWE Hall Of Famer certainly had a lot of praise for SmackDown Live star Elias.
Jeff Jarrett recently spoke to Metro UK to discuss several professional wrestling topics. During the interview, Jarrett had a ton of praise for the man formerly known as “The Drifter,” who he actually worked with back at the 2019 Royal Rumble, before losing to him on an episode of Monday Night RAW.
“He’s got a huge upside,” Jarrett said. “His injury last year was unfortunate, because he was really starting to get on a roll.”
Jarrett then explained that Elias has certain intangibles that make him successful. Mix that up with all of his talents such as playing guitar, singing, and writing music – it all makes for a very entertaining character.
“He’s got something that you can’t teach, that you can’t coach, that you can’t manufacture,” Jarrett said. “He’s got a unique set of skills. He’s got an aura about him, a charisma about him that’s very unique.
“The fact that he can play, and sing, and wrestle, and write music, and tie it all together – it makes him a very entertaining character.”
As we’ve noted, Elias is currently expected to face John Cena at WrestleMania 36 this April.
