On the latest “Kliq This” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash followed up on his comments he made last week about Logan Paul:
“I love the fact that the boys are making that kind of money. I just took it, like, in character when we talked about it, and just did what you do. You just embellish a little bit because, you know, we’ll get a sound bite out of this. I said, to tell you the truth, I really don’t know anything about him. I remember the first time I heard his name, not gonna go there. He’s more than paid his dues on that. He has apologized.”
“The thing that I remember, the first time that I really noticed him was, I believe it was against Roman, and I think it was the Saudi match. He was on the top rope and he cut a promo with his own phone in his hand and he filmed a dive, and I thought, wow. There were different times after that I would watch him, the people would pop and he would film the people and put it on his social media. I said, wow, that’s taking this whole thing to a different level. Nobody laid that out for that kid.”
“I think his athleticism is amazing. When I go someplace and somebody’s getting that kind of push and getting paid that kind of money, I ask some questions because I’m still one of the boys. I asked a person that has been in the ring with him, I said, you know, how is he? He says ‘He’s amazing as far as what he can do physically, but he doesn’t remember anything.’ I don’t know how much truth there is to that. You’re not one of the top five guys if you don’t know what we’re doing, if you just can’t go out there and call it.”
You really should listen to the podcast to get the full context of what Nash said here.
