WWE Hall of Famer Terry Funk reportedly ill, pulls out of scheduled match in Japan

As we noted a couple of weeks ago, Terry Funk was scheduled to wrestle for the Tenryu Project promotion on May 30th. Funk, 70, will not be able to make the trip due to a bad case of pneumonia.

Funk was scheduled to team with Genichiro Tenryu on that show. The match has been changed and it will now be Dory Funk, Tenryu, and NOSAWA Rongai facing Suwama, Atsushi Aoki, and Hikaru Sato in a six-man tag match.

Funk has been dealing with the pneumonia since last month. He was scheduled to appear for Pro Wrestling Syndicate at the end of April but had to pull out of that show as well. I think I speak for all wrestling fans when I wish Terry Funk a speedy recovery.
