It might not take much for CM Punk to attend the All In show. After all, he’ll be in Chicago anyway because he has a meet and greet at Pro Wrestling Tee’s HQ the day before the event. There were also rumors saying the Second City Savior was backstage during the All In press conference too which is very interesting.
But CM Punk loves Chicago and pro wrestling fans have been pining for a CM Punk return to the ring since he left the business after the 2014 Royal Rumble. CM Punk has focused on his on-going court case and UFC 225 fight against Michael Jackson but you never know if he could have something up his sleeve on September 1st.
Booker T opened up on his Heated Conversations podcast where he said that he thinks CM Punk will at least be at All In. “I think he’ll be at All In. I think if he loses this fight, he’ll be at All In with the Young Bucks and Cody Rhodes, making his way back to the pro wrestling world. I really think CM Punk [misses] the wrestling world. I just think he had a bad taste in his mouth, but he can get it back.”
The WWWE Hall Of Famer might think it will take Punk losing his next MMA fight to get him to attend All In, but some fans would like to think he might show up anyway.
It might be true that the current situation of CM Punk’s current legal situation with WWE’s doctor Chris Amann could have soured him on the idea of lacing up his boots once again. But only time will tell if things will take a turn for the better and we could always see CM Punk at least pop into All In even if he doesn’t actually wrestle in a match.
