WWE Hall Of Famer returning as a regular character on Monday Night Raw

It looks like WWE is using John Bradshaw Layfield in some way on television in the near future.

JBL was used to be a top heel during the Ruthless Aggression Era where he was the WWE Champion and helped make John Cena a top star by putting him over at WrestleMania 21. He retired from in-ring action to become a play-by-play commentator before returning to wrestling again. In recent years, he has been used as a commentator and a pre-show analyst.

The WWE Hall Of Famer will be returning to televised programming very soon. According to PWInsider, there was talk at last Friday’s SmackDown that “JBL would be at the next several Raws in some capacity.” There was also talk over the weekend that he would be at tonight’s Raw.

JBL last appeared on an episode of SmackDown in September, where he offered to manager Happy Corbin. As previously reported, Corbin is undergoing an edgy character change.
