WWE has begun teasing a big match for Survivor Series, Brock Lesnar not part of the SmackDown roster

Brock Lesnar is set to feud with Roman Reigns next month but he is apparently still part of the Raw roster, despite reports saying that he would be officially be moved to SmackDown.

During this week's episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Roman Reigns questioned Heyman about his claim that he did not know that Lesnar would be at SummerSlam. It is being played up that perhaps, Heyman is conflicted or that he might turn on Reigns and side with Lesnar again.

As previously noted, Lesnar is considered to be a babyface, at least for his feud with Reigns and the story with Heyman and Reigns is that Reigns saved Heyman and brought him back to WWE when Lesnar finished up with his contract a year and a half ago.

Lesnar is scheduled to face Reigns for the Universal Championship at Crown Jewel next month. Since The Rock is not likely for WrestleMania 38 in Dallas and Lesnar/Reigns was scheduled for an upcoming WrestleMania, it would make sense to do a screwjob finish in Saudi Arabia to set up the rematch at Mania next year.

WWE would need a reason to keep Reigns and Lesnar away from each other after October until March so keeping Lesnar on the Raw roster would be a way to do that.

Reigns has his plate full for the next several months and it's not expected that he will lose the Universal Title anytime soon. In addition to the match with Lesnar next month, Reigns is scheduled to face "Demon" Finn Balor at Extreme Rules and during SmackDown they teased a champion vs. champion match with Reigns facing Big E at Survivor Series.

Reigns will be on Raw this coming Monday and he will team with The Usos against all three members of The New Day.
