WWE has big plans to help Roman Reigns become the next crossover star

Roman Reigns has done it all in WWE as he’s been a top guy since making his main roster debut alongside Jon Moxley and Seth Rollins as members of The Shield in 2012. Since that time, Reigns has headlined WrestleMania six times, held all the top titles, and is the longest-reigning Universal Champion in WWE history.

While appearing on The Town with Matthew Belloni, WWE President Nick Khan was asked if Reigns will be the next crossover star for the company just like The Rock and John Cena has gone from being top WWE stars to big movie stars in Hollywood.

“We think he’s certainly up there, and we have big plans with him to help him crossover, which we think will be great for him and certainly great to do with him. Yeah, we think he has that.”

Regarding Reigns being The Rock’s cousin, Khan added, “Yeah, it’s like a Samoan dynasty. There’s a lot of connection there and we'll see what plays out there over time.”
