WWE Has Changed Brand Plans For Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss is moving to a different WWE brand, after all.

Bliss’s Royal Rumble return was a well-kept secret as she arrived at the arena around 3 PM local time, having flown from Florida to Indianapolis earlier that day, and was kept hidden until close to the match, with word only beginning to spread shortly before bell time.

Despite the secrecy, WWE had Bliss merchandise prepared in advance, already designed and ready for the following Raw in San Jose. Bliss had been assigned to the Raw brand, although there was talk about her potentially going to a different brand.

PWInsider.com reports that after there were creative pitches for Bliss on the SmackDown brand, WWE has opted to move forward with the idea, and SmackDown is 100% where she will be going.

Initially, she was slated to be paired with The Wyatt Sicks, but contract talks halted her return plans. It’s possible WWE will go back to its original plans.
