As noted earlier today, Alexa Bliss is not medically cleared to compete for Sunday’s Money In The Bank pay-per-view.
While some in WWE are downplaying the story as something minor, I was told that the reason why she was pulled is because of her concussion history and the company did not want to put her in a ladder match.
Bliss is on the European tour but she has not been wrestling. She was scheduled to wrestle in a fatal four-way match on Monday Night Raw but was replaced by Nikki Cross.
Dave Meltzer is reporting that Cross will replace Bliss on Sunday for the women’s Money In The Bank ladder match.
Meltzer also noted that Cross was booked to win the match on Raw in case she was needed to replace Bliss and that is what ended up happening.
