WWE has high hopes for new NXT UK signee

WWE has signed Millie McKenzie to the NXT UK brand.

Alex McCarthy of TalkSports reported the news on Tuesday morning. She made physical abuse allegations against former NXT UK star Travis Banks while they were in a relationship.

It was noted in the report, “it’s believed Banks being signed to the company was a central reason McKenzie did not sign sooner,” but with WWE letting Banks go and the efforts made to address the movement, the young star felt comfortable working for the company.

WWE also has “high hopes” for her as “she’s set to be plugged in at the top of the card in NXT UK along with fellow recent arrival Meiko Satomura.”

McKenzie previously worked for WWE as part of the tournament to crown the first-ever NXT UK Women’s Champion where she ended up losing to Jinny in the first round.

Just like for NXT in the United States, WWE has also been signing several wrestlers for the NXT UK brand such as Rampage Brown, Sha Samuels, Ben Carter, Meiko Satomura, and now Mckenzie.
