WWE previously confirmed WrestleMania 38 will take place on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas. It was also reported back in April that WWE was still planning to hold the show as a one-night event.
However, Fightful Select reported today that the working plan internally as of last week was for WrestleMania 38 to be split up into two nights. The event will now take place on Saturday, April 2, and Sunday, April 3.
Should everything go as planned then it would be the first-ever WrestleMania to have a full crowd in attendance over the course of two nights. Obviously, WrestleMania 36 had no fans and WrestleMania 37 had a reduced capacity because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
It was said the reception from the roster for a two-night WrestleMania has been unanimously positive. WWE was hoping to have The Rock wrestle Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 38, but that may not take place.
WrestleMania 39 goes down on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at SoFi Stadium in California.
