WWE has made a change to a match for Monday Night Raw, MVP returing to in-ring action

The non-title match for Monday Night Raw between Xavier Woods and WWE Champion Bobby Lashley has been changed to a tag team match.

During a commercial that aired on Friday Night SmackDown, it was announced that MVP would be returning to the ring and he will be teaming with Bobby Lashley against The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods).

Last Monday on Raw, Kingston accused MVP of milking his knee injury. MVP claimed that he was not cleared and then was laid out by Kingston’s Trouble in Paradise.

MVP has been sidelined from in-ring action since February with a knee injury. His return to the ring is not a total surprise since he is advertised for some upcoming live events. The match on Monday will serve to continue the build for Lashley vs. Kingston for the WWE Championship at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view.

Also announced for Raw is a Miz TV segment with Money In The Bank participants John Morrison, Matt Riddle, Drew McIntyre, and Ricochet as the guests.
