There are plans for a new heel stable to debut soon on the Raw brand.

Fightful reports that there has been a pitch for the stable to include WWE Hall Of Famer Edge as the leader and it looks like the idea has been approved because the plan is for them to form imminently unless Vince McMahon changes his mind at the last minute.

The idea is to add more to Edge's presentation now that he is working as a heel and a few names have been discussed to join him. One name that has been talked about is Damian Priest.

Currently, Priest is not doing anything at WrestleMania. He was will be part of the Andre The Giant Battle Royal on SmackDown but at one point, he was penciled in to face Finn Balor at Mania. It appears that he will be getting more TV time once the stable forms.

Nothing was said about an exact date for the new stable but WWE likes to start new storylines on the Raw after WrestleMania, which is considered to be the biggest Raw of the year so it's possible that they will form on that show or we could see hints building towards their formation.

Edge is scheduled to face AJ Styles at WrestleMania Sunday.
