WWE has pulled Charlotte Flair from media appearances

Charlotte Flair was slated to do various media appearances this week to promote WWE, which would’ve been very interesting to see how she would answer questions regarding the incident with Becky Lynch on last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

However, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful noted on Twitter that Flair has been pulled from those appearances.

This is likely a temporary thing, but the timing is interesting. It’s unknown whether Flair will be appearing on this Friday’s SmackDown to further build her feud with Sasha Banks.

There’s been no reports regarding whether WWE will punish Flair for the incident with Lynch, but the company is said to be in a tricky situation. It all started after Flair voiced her concerns regarding the championship exchange segment with “The Man.” Flair reportedly dropped the Raw Women’s Title on accident instead of giving it to Lynch on the first attempt then Lynch tossed her title to Flair.

They had a confrontation backstage in front of Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard. To avoid any other issues with Lynch as well as Sonya Deville, who reportedly wanted to fight "The Queen" because of her actions in the segment, Flair was escorted out of the building.
