On Wednesday, WWE confirmed the new on-sale date for WrestleMania 37 tickets, which will be this Friday morning. WWE had previously delayed the date for tickets as they were slated to go on-sale this past Tuesday, but the company pulled it on Monday.
WrestleVotes noted this past January that the company expected to have 25,000 fans in attendance each night, which would give them 50,000 total. It was later bumped up to 45,000 fans each night.
When WWE pulled the listing on Ticketmaster this past Monday, there was speculation that the reason for this was due to a change of how many fans would be allowed to attend in person. At the time, it wasn’t known if there would be more or less. Now we know.
Shortly after the announcement of the new on-sale date for tickets was made, Eduardo A. Encina of Tampa Bay Times reported WWE will have around 25,000 fans in attendance for each night.
His tweet read like, “BREAKING: Capacity for next month’s #Wrestlemania at Raymond James will be approximately 25,000 fans for each of two nights of the event. That’s 36 percent of full capacity for what the event would hold at Raymond James in a normal year.“

I have reached out to try and confirm this number, but if true, this would be significantly less than what #WWE had been initially aiming for as far as #WrestleMania is concerned. Just a little more than what the Super Bowl held. https://t.co/ROWJKVHtuN
