Betting odds have been released for the top matches at Sunday’s WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. Per Sports Betting Dime, the odds lean towards Rhea Ripley retaining the Raw Women’s Championship, Bobby Lashley retaining the WWE Championship, and Bianca Belair retaining the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Here are the betting odds for the Raw Women’s Championship, WWE Championship, and SmackDown Women’s Championship match.
Rhea Ripley (c) vs Charlotte Flair (Raw Women’s Championship):
Ripley (-265) vs Flair (+265)
Bobby Lashley (c) vs Drew McIntyre (WWE championship):
Lashley (-250) vs McIntyre (+250)
Bianca Belair (c) vs Bayley (SmackDown women’s championship):
Belair (-550) vs Bayley(+550)
The odds listed above make sense since WWE typically doesn’t book many title changes during the months before SummerSlam.
The Ripley-Flair feud is expected to continue into the Money In The Bank pay-per-view and likely into SummerSlam in Las Vegas. Lashley is being pushed as a top heel and if he wins then, per the stipulation, McIntyre will not be able to challenge Lashley for the title again so this looks to be the end of their feud and Lashley will move on to another opponent. Lashley’s next feud is anyone’s guess. The rumored match with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam is said to be off the table so unless WWE can make a deal with Lesnar in the next few weeks, there are no obvious opponents for him after Hell in a Cell.
Belair retaining over Bayley makes sense since her title reign is just getting started. What is likely to happen is that she will retain and then have a rematch with Bayley with a stipulation at July’s Money In The Bank pay-per-view.
Thus far, only five matches have been announced for the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. Here is what the card looks like so far:
WWE Championship – Last Chance Hell in a Cell Match
Bobby Lashley with MVP (Champion) vs. Drew McIntyre
WWE Universal Championship – Hell in a Cell Match
Roman Reigns with Paul Heyman (Champion) vs. Rey Mysterio with Dominik Mysterio
WWE Raw Women’s Championship
Rhea Ripley (Champion) vs. Charlotte Flair
WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship
Bianca Belair (Champion) vs. Bayley
Alexa Bliss vs. Shayna Baszler
There should be at least one or two more matches announced this Friday night on SmackDown.
WWE’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view airs this Sunday night at 8 pm eastern on Peacock’s streaming service. Fans outside of the United States can watch the show on the WWE Network. Hell in a Cell will be WWE’s final pay-per-view at the ThunderDome. The company will go back on the road next month, beginning on July 16th for Friday Night SmackDown where John Cena is expected to appear.
