Natalya vs. Lacey Evans
This was a late addition to the show. The finish of the match was Evans attempting a jumping moonsault off the top rope. Natalya moved out of the way and then locked in the sharpshooter to win the match. Natalya nailed Evans with a forearm to the face after the match.
WWE Raw Women’s Championship – Hell in a Cell Match
Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch
The match got started outside of the ring when Banks attacked Lynch from behind. After a couple of minutes, they made it into the ring and the match was “officially” started. There were lots of chair shots and bumps into the side of the cage. They also used a kendo stick as a weapon. The finish was Lynch hitting the Bexploder off the top on Banks onto a stack of chairs in the ring. Lynch forced Banks to tap out to the armbar submission. Banks looked like she was about to cry as she looked on from the stage while Lynch celebrated in the ring.
Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns vs. Luke Harper & Erick Rowan – Tornado Match
They added the Tornado Match stipulation so there were no tags and everyone could be in the ring at the same time for the entire match. Harper was favoring his knee early in the match. Late in the match, Rowan took out Reigns with a piece of the barricade but Reigns came back later and speared Rowan through an announcers table. The finish was a spear from Reigns and running knee from Bryan on Harper. Reigns pinned Harper to win the match for his team.
There was a backstage interview with Seth Rollins.
Randy Orton vs. Ali
This match was announced during the Kickoff show during a backstage segment where Orton made light of Ali having missed opportunities this year. Solid match. Ali slipped out of the RKO late in the match but Orton hit it a few seconds later and then pinned Ali. Orton did everything to make sure Ali looked good during the match.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross vs. The Kabuki Warriors
The Kabuki Warriors won the titles after Asuka spit green mist of the eyes of Nikki Cross while the referee was looking outside of the ring where Alexa Bliss and Kairi Sane were. After the green mist, Asuka hit a kick to the head and then pinned Cross to win the titles for her team. The announcers wondered where the Kabuki Warriors would end up in the draft.
Six-Man Tag Team Match
The Viking Raiders and Braun Strowman vs. The OC
Braun Strowman was announced as The Viking Raiders’ mystery partner. The match ended in a DQ because The OC triple-teamed Braun and they refused to listen to the referee. Viking Brothers and Braun Strowman were declared the winners by DQ. After the match, Viking Raiders took out Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson with a running dive through the ropes and to the ringside area. Strowman laid out Styles with a right hand. I guess they need to get over the power of his right hand ahead of Strowman’s match with Tyson Fury at Crown Jewel.
There was a backstage segment with The Street Profits. Tamina beat Truth to win the 24/7 title.
Chad Gable vs. Baron Corbin
Corbin was full of himself and cost himself the match when he tried to use the scepter. The referee grabbed it and that allowed Gable to roll up Corbin for the win. The ring announcer announced “Shorty Gable” as the winner.
Before the next match got started, Tamina was shown running in the crowd. Carmella superkicked her and R-Truth pinned her to win back the 24/7 title.
WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship
Bayley vs. Charlotte Flair
Flair won the title with the Figure-8. She forced Bayley to tap out. Before the tap out, Bayley tried to cheat by putting her foot on the ropes while trying to pin Charlotte. Bayley cried after the match and acted heelish as the crowd taunted her.
Backstage promo with Chad Gable. He says he is the bigger math. Baron Corbin attacked him.
WWE Universal Championship – Hell in a Cell Match
Seth Rollins vs. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt
The ending to this match was not good and the fans in the arena made it clear that they were not happy. Wyatt took several curb stomps throughout the match and kicked out. Rollins used a tool box, chairs, a ladder, etc and that was not enough to take out Wyatt. The ref called for the bell when Rollins used a sledgehammer to the head. That is when fans loudly booed the finish and there were loud AEW chants. Wyatt got up after the match was over and locked in the mandible claw as fans chanted to get the match restarted. Sadly, that was the end of the show. Wyatt won via DQ in a Hell in a Cell match.
