WWE hires 9-year old superfan Izzy for NXT Kids show

It looks like the NXT Kids show will be airing soon. We noted back in August that WWE had taped a pilot for the show. The pilot episode featured kids as the main announcers along with Corey Graves. They also had kids handling the backstage segments. The matches were very kid-friendly and there were a lot of camera shots of kids in the audience. The concept is similar to the old Saturday Morning Slam show that aired on the CW Network a few years ago.

They taped matches and segments for NXT Kids on Thursday in Winter Park, Florida. We are told that Izzy (Bayley’s 9-year old superfan that has been seen ringside at shows) was hired by the company as a ring announcer. Her first interview was with The Big Show. Big Show faced Heath Slater at the taping. Natalya, who has been out of action with a broken ankle, returned to action to face Becky Lynch at the taping.
