WWE To Hold Upcoming SmackDown On A Tuesday

WWE has announced that SmackDown will head to London’s O2 Arena on Tuesday, June 23, the night after Raw is also scheduled to take place at the same venue, as the company continues to expand its European Summer Tour schedule.

Additionally, Sheffield’s Utilita Arena will host a WWE live event on Wednesday, June 24, as part of the same tour swing. Tickets for both shows go on sale in an exclusive presale on Tuesday, May 12 at 10 am BST, with general sale beginning Thursday, May 14 at 10 am BST via WWE.com.

The announcement still lists the show as Friday Night SmackDown, suggesting the episode may air on Friday in its usual timeslot despite being taped on Tuesday. The taping arrangement raises questions about the broadcast presentation, given the several-day gap between filming and airing, which differs from previous European tapings that took place hours before their broadcast window.

The new London and Sheffield dates join a previously announced European Summer Tour that spans the UK, Spain, France, Portugal, and Italy across May and June. The tour’s headline event is Clash in Italy, WWE’s first-ever Premium Live Event in Italy, scheduled for May 31. Announced talent for the broader tour includes Cody Rhodes, Liv Morgan, Rhea Ripley, Trick Williams, Penta, The Usos, Gunther, Drew McIntyre, Jacob Fatu, and others.
