WWE Holding PLE In Mexico Next Year Is A Very High Possibility

Earlier this week, Bad Bunny got fans talking when he claimed that WWE would host Backlash in Mexico. He didn’t clarify when it would take place or exactly where it would be held in Mexico.

This was quickly debunked, as multiple reports noted that there are no current plans for that event to emanate from Mexico. However, it led to fans speculating that WWE could hold another event in the country in the near future.

It’s a market to tap into, especially with the recent signing of Penta and the expected signing of his brother Rey Fenix. WWE also has other Mexican stars such as Rey Mysterio, Stephanie Vaquer, Dragon Lee, and others who would be big draws in the country.

On a recent edition of SportsKeeda’s Backstage Pass Q&A, WrestleVotes was asked about the possibility of WWE holding a PLE in Mexico this year or in 2026. He responded, “I would say probably 2026 is a good possibility. Yeah, very high possibility.”
